Celtics, Pacers Poised for Eastern Conference Finals Clash

Opening Tip-Off Tonight Amidst Injury Woes

Injuries to key players have paved the way for the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers to advance in the playoffs.

The Celtics enter the Eastern Conference Finals with a 64-18 record, but their injury report casts a shadow. Bennedict Mathurin is out with a right shoulder labral tear, while Kristaps Porzingis is sidelined due to a right soleus injury.

Despite these setbacks, the Celtics remain formidable. Led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, they boast a high-powered offense that ranks second in the league in offensive rating (122.5).

The Pacers, meanwhile, have also weathered their own injury storms. They lost Tyrese Haliburton to a wrist injury but managed to overcome the adversity and secure a berth in the Finals.

Their high-scoring offense, led by All-Star Domantas Sabonis, will pose a significant challenge to the Celtics' defense. The Pacers' regular-season offensive rating (120.5) was second only to the Celtics.

With both teams facing injuries and carrying high expectations, the Eastern Conference Finals promises to be a closely contested battle.
